The restaurant “Vai”,
is a creative Cretan cuisine restaurant certified from the Agri-Food Partnership of Crete. The location which combines the blue waters of the Cretan sea, the wild beauty of the mountains and the unique palm forest in Europe, makes Vai Restaurant in combination with the original Cretan dishes offered a distinguished tourist and gastronomic destination in Crete.
Beginning from the selection of raw materials, they are made with strict criteria focussing on the excellent quality of all materials used. The receipt, storage, processing and preparation are carried out under strict hygiene food safety standards in order to ensure the perfect condition of all dishes in terms of hygiene. .
It is also important to be mentioned the usage of extra virgin olive oil from Sitia in all preparations, as well as the usage of fresh fish, meat and vegetables which are the basis of Cretan cuisine. Finally, in order a true traditional culinary experience to be provided, there is a selection of award-winning Cretan wines, the majority of which are produced from organically grown grapes of Toplou Monastery.
